Fédération Européenne des Associations de Professeurs de Déficients Auditifs
The European Federation of Associations of Teachers of the Deaf
Europäischen Föderation von Hörgeschädigtenpädagogenverbänden

The European Federation of Associations of Teachers of the Deaf p(FEAPDA) is a group of Teachers of the Deaf from across Europe and includes the following countries - Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and the UK. The association has been running for 34 years. The Association considers issues concerning the education of deaf children and young people in Europe. A congress is held every two years in one of the member countries. The aim of these biennial congresses is to spread good practice, to hear about new developments in the field, and to allow Teachers of the Deaf to meet each other to discuss their work with deaf children and young people

Participants from different European countries have the opportunity to share their knowledge and their daily concerns on a given topic with keynote lectures and country presentations acting as a stimulus for further discussion.
